IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra J.
Lucia
November 12, 1951 – June 13, 2023
Kingston, NH: Sandra J. (Comeau) Lucia, 71 of Kingston and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died suddenly on June 13, 2023 at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Barbara (Anderson) Comeau and attended Haverhill Public Schools. She was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1969 and went on to receive her Associate's Degree in Medical Records from Northern Essex Community College.
Sandy began her career as the Director of Medical Records at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport and later was employed for thirty-five years in the same position at Hampstead Hospital, until her retirement.
Sandy's life was enriched with many activities and hobbies. Following her retirement, she volunteered as an advocate for young people under the care of the Department of Youth Services. She was also a member of the Greater Lawrence Italian Women's Club, the Knitsters Knitting Club and a former member of the Junior Women's Club of Kingston. You could often find her with a mystery novel in hand, curled up on the couch or floating in the pool. She was an enthusiastic cook and baker. She took pleasure in knitting, tending to her flower gardens and traveling. Her adventures took her across the United States, Europe and Asia. Sandy's generosity and concern for others was unwavering. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Sandy cared deeply about others. She took care of and supported numerous relatives and members of her community; always willing to share her time, treating them like her own and changing their lives for the better. Her bright smile and tender nature touched many.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of fifty-two years, Stephen A. Lucia, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kate E.
