Plaistow, NH: Ruthann E. "Randi" (Florence) Connolly, 70, of Plaistow, died peacefully at her home on December 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Woburn, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Russell F. Florence and Claire L (Moran) Florence, Randi was a member of the Woburn High School Class of 1973. Later in life she continued her education at Northern Essex Community College.
Randi was employed for many years in the office of the Essex County District Attorney as an administrative assistant and advocate for families dealing with domestic abuse. She was also a licensed Justice of the Peace for many years. A resident of Plaistow for the past forty years and a former member of Holy Angels Parish, Randi volunteered for many years as a C.C.D. teacher for the parish and was a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed renovating and decorating her home and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Randi will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband of forty years, Robert W. Connolly, sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Penny Gifford of Derry, NH, Ian and Sarah Connolly of Plaistow, Glenn and Stacey Connolly of Maine, and Daniel Connolly of Brookline, NH; daughters and sons-in-law, Meghan and Joseph Finn, of Plaistow, Darlene Connolly of Exeter, NH, Julie and Andy Vincent of Bedford, NH; two sisters, Janet Griffin and her husband Dennis and Debra Florence, all of Antrim, NH, her former husband Walter Gifford, eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Florence.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by services at 12 p.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow. Private burial will follow in Plaistow Cemetery.
