Roy Cunningham, 62, son of the late Paul and Lorraine (DeBlois) Cunningham of Haverhill, MA., passed away in his home on August 23, 2017 with his loving family at his side. Roy was born on June 21, 1955 in Haverhill, MA., and is predeceased by his parents.

Roy will be lovingly missed and sadly remembered by his daughters Angela Cunningham of Londonderry, NH., and Melissa (Cunningham) Jones and her husband Timothy, of Derry, NH., his son Chad Cunningham and his wife Kelly of Danvers, MA., brother Paul Cunningham and his wife Sheila of Weare, NH., and sister Dawn (Cunningham) Martinez and her husband Hector of Haverhill, MA. Roy was predeceased by his sister June Gouldrealt of Haverhill, MA. In addition to his cherished immediate family, Roy is survived by his nine grandchildren,  one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roy was employed for more than 20 years by Lucent Technologies as a dedicated shipping and receiving worker, and later retired from a job he loved. His helpful attitude and generous spirit was seen often within his neighborhood, where he often assisted many of his neighbors with a multitude of tasks. Roy loved his grandchildren, as he loved his family, and will be forever known as a family man. He loved fishing, enjoyed Plum Island visits, and found incredible peace there on the shores.
