Obituary

Pelham, NH:  Rose M. (Brousseau) LaPierre, 87, of Pelham, NH and formerly of Atkinson, NH and Haverhill, MA, died suddenly on April 23, 2018 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.

Born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph Brousseau and the late Jeannette ( Landry) (Brousseau) O'Brien, she attended schools in Lawrence and Haverhill and graduated with the Haverhill High School Class of 1949.  She worked first in the local shoe industry and later as an Electronic Assembler for the former Western Electric Company, North Andover, MA.

Mrs. LaPierre was a member of Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow, NH.  An avid reader, she enjoyed her Kindle,  and also listening to country music, taking trips to the beach and to Cape Cod, and gardening.  A loyal fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, she enjoyed long conversations with friends over coffee or at lunch dates. Most of all, she was a devoted grandmother, who helped care for her grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of her great-grandson, Lorenzo Gonzalez, and the August wedding of her grand-daughter Katelyn Goupil to Thomas O'Brien

The widow of the late Richard A. LaPierre, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Christine LaPierre of Sandown; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Paul Goupil of Pelham; two brothers, Francis M. O'Brien of Stowe, MA and James W. O'Brien and his wife, Joan of Chelmsford, MA; a sister, Janet (O'Brien) Kelly and her husband, Robert; seven grandchildren, Christopher Cannata, Dawn Goupil, Katelyn Goupil, Chantalle Gonzalez and her husband Jeremy, Mechelle (LaPierre) Lenane and her husband, John, Russell LaPierre and Cole LaPierre; a great granddaughter, Isabella Cannata and a great grandson, Lorenzo Gonzalez and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son, Richard A. "Ricky" LaPierre, a brother, George O'Brien and a sister, Marlene McCarthy.
