Haverhill, MA: Rosalie M. (Comeau) Tellier, 95, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died on May 19, 2014 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Stephen and Evangeline (Deveau) Comeau, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1937. As a young woman Mrs. Tellier worked as a presser in the local shoe and bow industries. During World War II she worked for Fuller Brush Company in Connecticut.

A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish, she was a life member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society.

Mrs. Tellier enjoyed reading, cooking, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, especially her cherished children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In her recent years, she enjoyed getting together with her Whist Party Group in Atkinson, NH.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of seventy years and the love of her life, Francis "Whitey" Tellier who died on January 24, 2014. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol E. and Patrick McGonagle of Haverhill, and Pauline M. and Richard Kozar of North Reading, MA, four granddaughters, Rebecca (Eastman) Iyore and her husband Christian of Lowell, Leanne Eastman and her fiancé Jason Petrou of Haverhill, Megan (McGonagle) Fuchs and her husband Lance of Hampstead, NC, and Alison (McGonagle) O'Connell and her husband Jack of Amesbury, five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Alexander, Brody, Calyn, and Porter, and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors who were so very dear to her. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edmond, Felix, Melvin, and Victor Comeau, and her sisters, Evelyn Travers, Theresa Roberts, and Marie Lambert.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. Her funeral will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
