On December 25, 2024, Ronald Benjamin Owens, age 83, of Hampstead, NH passed away peacefully in his sleep, succumbing to a battle with colon cancer. Ron was born in Brooklyn and lived in the city until he finished school at Aviation Trades High School. Ron and his two brothers Brian, and Barry then joined the United States Airforce. Ron served honorably until 1965.

Ron settled in New England and worked for Honeywell/ Honeywell Bull, as a database engineer, where he would meet his now ex-wife of over 20 years Jill Owens . Ron also had several hobbies: computer games, fishing, fish keeping, science fiction, and fireworks. He passed some or all these passions on to his two children Matthew and Justin Owens. Ron was also very handy and took pride in repairing or enlisting his kids into repairing, the home on Sunset Lake that he would often describe as his dream home. Ron was also known for his ability to offer advice and share his knowledge in just about everything.

Ron leaves behind his two sons Justin and Matthew, and four grandchildren Alexander, Ophelia, Maximus, and Gabriel who will dearly miss the Dad, Gramps and or Grampy but will always be reminded of him on one of his favorite holidays.
