Haverhill, MA:  Ronald E. Kinney, 54, of Haverhill and formerly of Kingston, NH, died on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, of natural causes.

Born in Derry, NH, the son of Wayne Kinney and Jeannie (Kilburn) (Kinney) Lonergan, he was raised in Kingston, NH and graduated from Sanborn Regional High School with the Class of 1981.  Ronald worked as a contractor specializing in excavation and worked under the name of Ron Kinney Excavators and also worked in land development and welding for local companies including Channel Builders and Dutton & Garfield.

He belonged to several darts leagues and enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, boating and waterskiing.    He also enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling and downhill skiing.

He is survived by his mother, Jeannie G. (Kilburn) (Kinney) Lonergan of Atkinson, NH and his father and stepmother, Wayne E. and June Kinney of Kingston, NH.  He also leaves four sisters and brother-in-law, Robin G. and Steve Webster of Wolfeboro, NH, Debra L. Chase of Holderness, NH, Patricia E. St. Peter of Moultonboro, NH and Terry K. Akashian of Chester, NH; nieces and nephews, Brooke, Tori, Jordan, Hailey and Jacob and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, from 4 – 6 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  His Funeral Service will follow at 6:15 PM at the funeral home.
