Atkinson, NH:  Roland P. DesRoche, 76, of Atkinson, NH and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Sutton Hill Center, North Andover, MA.

He was born in Methuen, MA and was the son of the late Joseph and Dora (Dube) DesRoche.  Roland was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Trade School, graduating with the class of 1962. He was a licensed Plumber and owned and operated R. DesRoche Plumbing and Heating Company.

Roland enjoyed attending antique and classic car shows and had an avid interest in the operations of the railroad and owned and enjoyed riding his railcar.  He previously owned a camp in Liberty, Maine where he enjoyed fishing and boating.

Roland will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-four years, Eleanor (Googins) DesRoche; a son, Paul R. Desroche and his wife, Bonnie Shahinian of Haverhill; a daughter, Susan L. Bradley and her husband, Scott of St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Normand DesRoche and a sister, Lorraine Kovalson.
