Atkinson, NH: Roger L. Cote, 71, a resident of Atkinson for the past twenty-seven years, died on February 11, 2016 in Lawrence, MA.

Born on August 5, 1944 in Lawrence, son of the late Aurore and Gideon Cote, he moved to Plaistow, NH as a child and attended Haverhill High School. Mr. Cote was employed as a layout operator at Western Electric, AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies and retired after forty years of service.

A member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Mr. Cote enjoyed playing Bingo at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

He was predeceased by his former wife, Donna L. (Bevin) Cote in 2014, and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Shaun M. and Melissa Cote of Plaistow, his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle R. and Jesse Silva of Lake Wales, FL, his brother, Paul Cote of Rancho Cordova, CA, six grandchildren, Faith Silva, David Silva, Chantel Cote, Amanda Azevedo, Ashley Cote, and Joshua Cote, two great grandchildren, Eva Azevedo and Xavier Pagar, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Al Cote, George Cote, Tony Cote, Ernie Cote, Aime Cote, Sue Lovett, and Cecile Johnson.

There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in Highland Cemetery, Newton, NH. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
