Fremont, NH:  Roberta W. "Bobbie" Faxon, age 93, passed away peacefully at Exeter Hospital on January 14, 2017.

Born on October 23, 1924, she was raised in Atkinson, NH.   Bobbie was one of ten children of the late George W. and Lillian White.  She graduated from Atkinson Academy in 1942.  Following graduation, she joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946.  She retired as a tester from Western Electric in 1974.

Bobbie enjoyed reading, working in her garden, spending time at the ocean and serving the Lord by going on missionary trips to such places as Haiti.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Richard T. Chase in 1988, and also two brothers, William and Edward as well as three sisters, Timmy, Louise and Mary.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald Faxon of Fremont, NH.  Her granddaughters, Mashelle Pike and her husband, Stephen of Fremont, NH; Melissa Durkin and her husband, Jack of Atkinson, NH; her daughter-in-law, Linda Chase Gauvin of Port Richey, FL and two step-children, Terri Faxon and wife, Beth of Peppered, MA and Tammy Faxon of Maine; brothers, Milliard White, George White and sisters, Lillian Merrill and Georgette Whiteneck; eleven great-grandchildren, two great, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Atkinson Cemetery, Atkinson, NH.  Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
