Kingston – Robert L. Roy, 77, passed away Monday October 23, 2023, at the Exeter Hospital following a period of failing health.

Born March 2, 1946, in Portsmouth, NH, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Edgareta (Littlefield) Roy.

Robert attended schools in Portsmouth, NH and had worked at the Pic-N-Pay, Davidson Rubber, the Portsmouth Herald, and retired as a General Foreman at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard where he was regarded by his fellow employees as a wonderful co-worker and an excellent leader of the welding dept.

Bob played the trumpet; he was an animal lover, especially his dogs Tex and Bengie. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. In his younger years he loved taking trips to Hampton and Salisbury Beaches where he enjoyed listening to music, shopping, and later in his life feeding the seagulls. He enjoyed fishing with his children, and loved disco dancing.

Members of his family include his wife Anna M. (Lacroix) (Lepine) Roy of Kingston, NH; his children Teresa "Terry" A. Roy Webb of FL; Robert "Robbie" L. Roy, II of FL; Jose Roy of RI; David and Gilbert Roy both of Greenland, NH; his grandchildren Nick and wife Emily, Brandon and wife Devin, Alexis, Ryan, Morgan, Savana, and Bryce, two great grandchildren Zaiden and Elise.
