Robert G. "Bob" Pollinger, 80, of Fremont, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, in 1946, Bob was the son of the late Robert and Alice (Gath) Pollinger. Raised in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, he graduated with the Class of 1964 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, especially on Lake Champlain, Vermont. He also enjoyed hunting and skiing throughout his life. A proud motorcycle rider and enthusiastic auto racing fan, Bob found great joy spending time with family and friends. Playing horseshoes was his favorite, and he won many tournaments! He spent many years as a seasonal camper at Mi-Te-Jo's Campground, where he enjoyed cruising on his pontoon boat and creating lasting memories with those he loved.

A builder by trade, Bob was always willing to lend a hand with home improvement projects and was known for his generosity, sense of humor, and willingness to help others. He cherished time spent with his family and was always ready to share a laugh.

Bob will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife of forty-five years, Connie (Constance Thibodeau) Pollinger; his children, Michael Pollinger, Christine Benoit, Patrick Tessier, Debbie Rich and her husband Todd, and Steven Tessier and his wife Stephanie.

He was the devoted grandfather of Mike Rich; Jack and Corienne Benoit; Molly, Zach, Logan, and Lindsey Tessier; and the proud great-grandfather of Everett Coolbroth.

As the patriarch of a large and loving family, Bob is also survived by his siblings and their families: Patricia and Edward Witkum; Richard "Peter" and Deborah Pollinger; Gail Theriault; Alice and Cliff Westland; Debbie Pollinger and her wife Michelle; as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Denis and Cris Thibodeau, Lonnie and Dottie Thibodeau, Richie and Susie Thibodeau, and Claire Thibodeau.

He also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Sandy and Joe Kealy; his brothers, Donald and Charles Pollinger; and his brother-in-law, Bob Theriault. His daughter-in-law, Stacey Tessier. His loving granddaughter, Katelyn (Rich) Coolbroth, and nephew Randy Witkum.

Bob will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Hospital.
