Plaistow, NH: Robert A. Noltemy, 66, a resident of Plaistow for the past twenty-three years, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital, following a long illness.
Born in Boston, son of Phyllis (Noltemy) Boudreau and the late Arthur Noltemy, he was raised and educated in Westfield, MA. He worked first as a flooring specialist and later as a die cutter and printer at Graphic Arts. He was a former longtime resident of the Beacon Hill section of Boston, before moving to New Hampshire twenty five years ago.
A member of the Country Pond Fish and Game Club of Newton and the NRA, he was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed working out in his yard and on his computer. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who also enjoyed occasional trips to the beach and walking his dog.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and longtime companion, Catherine MacDonald, a son Richard J. Noltemy of Morristown, NJ, three daughters, Bridgett Oaks of Naples ,FL, Roxanne Noltemy and her companion Raymond Goudreau, of Methuen and Nichole Noltemy of Salisbury, MA., his mother Phyllis Boudreau, of Westfield, a brother, Richard Noltemy of Springfield, MA , a grandson Raymond Goudreau, a great grandson, Julian Matias, a special uncle and aunt Robert and Astrid Noltemy, of Dover MA, and other extended family members. He was predeceased by his daughter Bobbie Lee Noltemy in 2001 and a brother William Noltemy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 7:15 at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN.
