Andover, MA: Robert K. "Murph" Murphy, 49, of Andover and formerly of Lawrence and Methuen, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen after being stricken at home from natural causes, and following a brief illness.

Born in Lawrence, son of Diane (Letourneau) Murphy and the late Kevin J. Murphy, he was raised in Methuen and attended Mt. Carmel Grammar School. He graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational and Technical High School with the Class of 1990. Murph worked as an electrician all of his work career, and most recently was employed at MEC Electrical in Chelmsford.

In his younger years, Murph and his father built a racecar and took part in the Pinewood Derby. He was an avid fisherman and football fan, enjoying college football as well as the New England Patriots. He spent many wonderful hours at J Brians Pub and Grille with a large group of friends, many of whom were like family to him.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Diane (Letourneau) Murphy of Atkinson, a sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Tim Roberts of East Hampstead, the love of his life, Julie Davis of Andover, several aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Murph's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  His funeral will begin on Wednesday, May 5, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Funeral Liturgy of the Word to be held at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH.
