Robert A. Morse, 81, of Hampstead, NH, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at home. He was the devoted husband of Dolores (Bouchard) Morse, celebrating 52 years of cherished marriage.
Born in Haverhill, MA on December 2, 1942, Robert was the beloved son of the late Charles and Rachel (Heddemon) Morse. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH, Class of 1963, and then worked for over 30 years as a driver for Coca Cola, as well as a volunteer for the Hampstead Fire Department. He enjoyed his retirement by spending weekends camping in Maine, attending his grandchildren's events, eating breakfast at a local diner, and making new friends.
Bob had a lifelong passion for NASCAR, computer games and making amazing food, especially cheesecakes. He would be the first to tell someone where to find the best seafood in New England, as well as help with anything people needed. He was known for his funny stories and jokes that always put a smile on everyone's face.
Also known as "Papa Moose", Bob's kindness and warmth touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on family, friends, and acquaintances alike.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his son Steven Morse and daughter-in-law Carolyn of Hampstead, NH; grandchildren Caden Morse and Grace Morse; and numerous other beloved family members and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Jeanne Currier.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Hampstead, NH. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Hampstead Fireman's Association, 17 Littles Lane, Hampstead NH 03841.
