Davie, Florida: Robert K. Liversidge, 85, and formerly of Atkinson, NH and Methuen, Massachusetts, died September 26, 2013 at his home in Florida.

Born in Lowell, MA, son of the late F. Norman and Lorraine (Mercier) Liversidge, he was raised in Lawrence graduating Lawrence High School in 1947. He served in the U.S.Army as a Private First Class during the Korean Conflict and returned home to establish a florist and greenhouse business in Lawrence, in partnership with his late brother Norman. He later worked as a security guard at Phillip's Academy in Andover.

In his later years, Mr. Liversidge was a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and spent his summers at Hampton Beach. He was an active boater and fisherman and enjoyed shuffleboard as a professional with the Florida Shuffle Board Association.

The husband of the late Mildred F. (Wallack) Liversidge, who died in 1999, he is survived by his wife Jean (Girard) (Finn) Liversidge, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10a.m. in the funeral home with the rendering of military honors on the grounds of the funeral home immediately following the service. Entombment will take place in St. Mary's -Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence, MA.
