East Hampstead: Robert W. "Bob" Lavallee Jr. sadly passed away unexpectedly on May 21 st . Son of the late Robert Lavallee Sr. and Almie (Paquette) Lavallee, Bob was born on March 7 th , 1958. Raised in Plaistow, New Hampshire, he attended Timberlane Regional High School and later graduated from Plymouth State College. After graduating, Bob worked as an entrepreneur, working in real estate and construction. He spent many years working in the asbestos abatement industry, putting together large-scale demolition and construction jobs. He presently was employed as Director of Business Development for ACM Group, Inc.
Bob was known by all for his love of cooking, following New England sports teams, and spending time with those he loved. He has many fond memories of playing sports as a child. Summers were spent on Cape Cod with close friends and family, at the Blue Water Resort in South Yarmouth. He also looked forward to his yearly trip to Playa Del Car, Mexico, to escape the winter. He frequented local restaurants in the area and enjoyed nothing more than a good meal with close family and friends. Bob was known for his sense of humor and sarcasm, and will always be remembered by his famous "one- liners." Anyone who knew and loved him appreciated his jokes which brought many laughs over the years.
His life will be cherished by the special people in his life: his longtime loving companion of twenty-eight year, Paula (Gaff) Nestor, his brother John Lavallee and wife Kristi of Kensington, NH, his brother David Lavallee and wife Kathy of Keene, NH, and his sister Lynne Caldwell of Plaistow, NH. He will be greatly missed by his son, Robert Lavallee and wife Jennifer of Haverhill, MA, his daughter Eleni Lavallee and fiancé Michel Abreu of Lawrence, MA, and his stepdaughter Heidi Clark of East Hampstead, NH. He leaves behind his two grandchildren, Devyn Clark and Robert "Bobby" Lavallee. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Ronald Caldwell and nephew Ronnie Caldwell.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Plaistow. Those attending are asked to wear masks and to observe the social distancing guidelines presently in place in New Hampshire. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow. The family requests that donations in Bob's name be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
