Robert "Bob" A. Fields, Jr., 82, a twenty-seven year resident of Danville, NH, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Exeter Hospital.

The second born in a family of eleven, he was raised and educated in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and was the son to the late Robert and Mary (Murray) Fields.  He was a graduate of Stoneham High School and, for a short time worked for the family business as a meat cutter, before finding his love for being on the road. Bob drove trucks for over sixty years, having worked for Abenaqui Carriers for over ten years before retiring.

Bob had a passion for camping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed taking his wife and grandchildren on long trips up north and to Florida. He cheered them on at sporting events when they were younger and happily provided a home away from home, bringing the RV along to make long tournament days more comfortable. Bob will be remembered most for always being true to himself and his unique sense of humor.

Bob is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-nine years, Marie (McCarthy) (Petrillo) Fields of Danville; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Jessica, J.T. and Eric Petrillo and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving stepson, John Timothy Petrillo in December of 2021. Bob will also be missed by his four children from a previous marriage.
