Salem, NH: Robert Ivan Dinsmore, 89, of Hampstead, NH passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Greystone Farm in Salem, NH.

Born in Stoneham, MA, the son of the late Ivan and Ann (Cersosimo) Dinsmore, he grew up in Malden, MA and spent summers with family in Nova Scotia until graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1947. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at Boston University as a member of the Class of 1956. Before finishing college, he married the love of his life, Tina, and they settled in Stoneham, MA to raise their family.

Robert enjoyed a career of thirty-eight years at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where he earned recognition as a member of the Sales Hall of Fame and Liberty Leaders, before retiring as a Vice President in the National Sales group. As an excellent golfer he was invited to play in the Legends of Golf tournament sponsored by Liberty Mutual having an opportunity to play with some of his favorite professional golfers.

Besides golf, Robert enjoyed sailing on Lake Quannapowitt with his family and traveling throughout the US, Canada and Europe.

Robert will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty-four years, Tina Dinsmore, sons Stephen Dinsmore and his partner Richard Wakeling of Wells, ME, Richard Dinsmore and his wife Suzanne of Portsmouth, NH, daughter Louise Dinsmore of Hampstead, NH, grandchildren Alexandra and David Dinsmore. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Dinsmore.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery in Hampstead, NH under the direction of Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
