Robert J. "Bob" Meade, Jr. of Plaistow, NH (formerly of Danvers, MA and South River, NJ), passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was 59. Bob graduated from South River High School and attended the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. Although job opportunities took him to Japan Airlines Cargo in Grapevine, Texas and Boston, MA and recently to United States Stationery Supplies in Woburn, MA, Bob was a South River boy at heart. He was a member of the Union Club in Beverly, MA. He was an avid golfer and played in the Union Club Golf League at New Meadows in Topsfield, MA for over 20 years. Bob was also a long-standing member of the Elks. He was a voracious reader, loved sports, liked to cook and enjoyed dabbling in the stock market.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Alberta (Dewan) Meade and Robert J. Meade, Sr. He is survived by several cousins, and will be deeply missed by Teri Ann Szallai, Lynn Marie Meade and Mary Ann Meade, who he thought of as "sisters more than cousins".

At Bob's request there are no funeral services. His cremated remains will be interred in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ, at a later date.
