Robert J. "Bob" Bouchard, 85, a resident of Haverhill, MA, and a former resident of Martha's Vineyard for 30 years, died on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Haverhill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dail M. (Dinsmore) Bouchard with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

He was born in Haverhill, MA on March 11,1940 and was the son of the late Cleo J. and Melvina (Vencis) Bouchard. Bob attended Haverhill public schools. While at Haverhill High, he excelled at sports; playing on both the basketball and football teams.  Bob was also a United States Coast Guard veteran, serving as a Damage Control Petty Officer on the USCGC Humboldt .

Alongside his wife Dail, they owned and operated Amtech, an appliance company in Plaistow, NH for seven years. He was later employed as a technician at RCA and at Sears. Most recently, Bob took a post-retirement position as a baker at Shop & Stop in Edgartown, Ma. for fifteen years. He enjoyed working in the bakery, making use of his love of cooking and baking.

Besides his wife Dail, he is survived by his sons Jonathan R. Bouchard and his wife Susan of Plaistow, NH and Stephen Bouchard of Dennisport, MA, his grandchildren Kristen Guerriero and her husband Tom, Matthew Bouchard and his wife Samantha, and Cameron Bouchard and his wife Victoria, his great-grandchildren Addison, and Ellie and his step-grandson Rocco.

He was sadly predeceased by his brother Curtis Bouchard.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10am – 11am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:15 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
