Robert H. Baxter, 89, a resident of Exeter, NH died on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at High Pointe House Hospice in Haverhill, MA surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marlene (Mangion) Baxter with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

He was born in Haverhill, MA on November 14, 1935 and was the son of the late Henry and Florence (Essel) Baxter. Robert was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1953. He earned his bachelor's degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Robert was self-employed. He owned and operated Reynolds Sales in Kingston, NH until his retirement. Robert enjoyed hiking, landscaping, trips to the beach and traveling with his wife Marlene.

Besides his wife, Robert is survived by his children Ann Walker and her husband Kent of Kingston, NH, and Michael Baxter and his fiancée Erica Sarcione of Kensington, NH, his grandchildren Ryan Walker and his wife Meghan, and Jessica Walker and her fiancée Zachary Havener. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Robert was sadly predeceased by his son Daniel Baxter, and his daughter-in-law Christina Gallo.

A private funeral service will be held at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Haverhill.
