Danville, NH: Richard J. Rondeau, 79, of Danville, NH, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Exeter Hospital, Exeter, NH.
Born in Methuen, MA, son of the late Joseph Rondeau and Isabelle (Lynch) Martineau, he attended Searles High School and graduated with the Class of 1951.He worked for thirty years as a Toolmaker for the former Western Electric Co. of North Andover, MA, and was a licensed real estate broker and was the owner of Richard J. Rondeau Realty of Plaistow.He served as a Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire from 1980 to 1989 and performed many marriages at the Pine Knoll Wedding Chapel, 121 Main St., Danville, NH.
Mr. Rondeau enjoyed R.V. Camping, golfing and traveling, especially to Florida for the winter months.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart to whom he has been married for sixty-two years, Elsie L. (Vogler) Rondeau; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard J. and Denise Rondeau, Jr. of Windham and Kevin J. and Teri Rondeau of Merrimack; a daughter, Attorney Sharon J. Rondeau of Newmarket; four brothers, Robert J. Rondeau of Danville, Ramon J. Rondeau of Manchester, "Fred"' Joseph Rondeau of Louisianna and David Rondeau of Africa; four grandchildren, Richard J. Rondeau, III of California, Drew Rondeau, Kayla Rondeau and Amber Rondeau, all of Florida; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his stepfather, Philippe Martineau, who raised him as a child.
