Derry, NH:  Richard "Rick" Pipitone, 61, longtime resident of Derry, passed away after a strong-willed battle with cancer at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.

Born October 19, 1960 in Cambridge, MA, he was raised in Atkinson, NH. A graduate of Timberlane High School in 1979, he went on to begin his career in manufacturing. He proudly worked for Lucent Technologies for twenty-three years and Velcro USA for fourteen years. He most recently enjoyed his work at Raytheon Technologies.

Rick loved family camping trips at Greenfield State Park and had many memories at Weirs Beach in Laconia, NH. He enjoyed working in his yard and was proud of his well-kept lawn and vegetable garden. Rick never met a flea market or yard sale he didn't enjoy, always finding great treasures. He was an avid Patriots fan and welcomed all friendly trivia competitions.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, big brother, uncle, great-uncle and brother-in-law, he will be dearly missed.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl (Linehan) Pipitone of 37 years; two daughters, Jennifer Sinitski and her husband, Eric of Salem, NH and Katie Frederico and her husband, Nick of Dover, NH;  four grandchildren, Eleanora, Hailey, Mia and Lydia; two brothers, Joseph Pipitone and his wife, Nancy of Jaffrey, NH and Gary Pipitone of Atkinson, NH; a brother-in-law, William Linehan of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a sister-in-law, Susan Pipitone of Epping, NH; four nephews, David Pipitone and his wife, Liz, Joshua Pipitone, Joey Pipitone and Matthew Pipitone; two great-nephews and a great-niece.

Rick is predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Ruth (Roemer) Pipitone of Atkinson, NH and his brother, Christopher Pipitone of Epping, NH.

Per Rick's wishes, services will be Private. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to High Pointe House, 360 North Ave, Haverhill, MA 01830.
