Richard Allen Nyberg

1933-2025

Danville, NH - Richard (aka Dick & Dicky Doo) Nyberg, 92, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. He was born to Russell and Edna (Tibbetts) Nyberg on July 9, 1933 in Hopkinton, NH.

He enlisted in the Navy in November of 1950 and was Honorably Discharged in April of 1954. He worked at Lucent Technologies as a Tool and Die maker for 28 years before retiring in 1990. His true love and favorite past time was riding his Motorcycle with his friends, and he continued riding his bike until he was 87 when he decided it was time to give it up.

Richard is survived by his daughter Patty and her husband Bob Brochu of Bangor, ME, his grandchildren Kylie and Cody Ramsey of Maine and Nick Brochu of Texas, his great grandchildren Jeydon, Hayden, Mason, Logan, Gage and Jacob, several nieces and nephews, his wonderful neighbors George and Fran Elias who looked out for him for several years and close friends Elaine and Eunice.

He was predeceased by his daughter Sueallyn Rattay, his siblings Wallace, John, Dallas (Jalbert), Forrest, Thelma, Gail (DeRusha) and the mother of his daughter Patty Shirley Daigle.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 12pm in the Pine Grove Cemetery 765 Brown Ave. Manchester, NH.

There will be a Celebration of Life December 3, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 upstairs at the Post 34 Plaistow American Legion, 176 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
