Haverhill, MA; Richard "Rusty" D. Myra, 65, longtime resident of Haverhill, died Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, surrounded by his loving family.

Born, raised, and educated in Middleton, he was a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School, class of 1974. He went onto work as an administrator for many years at Salem Hospital and later Salem Automotive, retiring from Engineering Concrete in Haverhill.

Rusty was an outgoing social butterfly. He enjoyed spending time at Hampton beach, Maine beaches, and in Cape Cod. In his younger years, he enjoyed horseback riding and attending the Topsfield fair. Above all spending time with his family and friends was most important to him, and some of his favorite memories were those made going out on the town.

Rusty is lovingly remembered by his brother, Robert Myra of Lynn, MA; three sisters, Gail Berrand and her husband, John Wellman of Grand Junction, CO, Gloria Small and her husband, Robert of Pittsfield, NH and Sandy Betley and her husband, Richard of Lowell, MA; ten nieces and nephews, Alicia, Adam, Amy, Michelle, Crystal, Katie, Linda, Kelley, Bobby-Jean and Matthew, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
