Kingston,NH: Richard A. Manasian, 54, died June 9, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Salem, Massachusetts, son of the late Manas and Claire (Fogarty) Manasian, he was raised in Reading and graduated Reading High School with the Class of 1977 . He received his degree in Business Administration from North Adams State College in 1982 and worked in the automotive industry as an accessories consultant for Ford Motor Co., Chrysler Motor Co., and Toyota.
A former resident of Sandwich and Marshfield, Gloucester and Danvers, Mr. Manasian enjoyed fishing, renovating and repairing his homes and being a supportive dad to his children's sports activities.
He is survived by his three sons, Richard A. "Rick" Manasian, Mathew E. Manasian, and Ryan M. Manasian and daughter Ashley M. Manasian, all of Kingston, NH, sisters, Paula O'Donnell of Halifax, MA, and Mary Koudelka of Sandwich, and a brother, Stephen Jenkins of North Reading, his former wife, Kim (Thurnquist) Manasian of Kingston, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Barry Jenkins.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary Mother of the Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Newton, NH.
