Obituary


Haverhill: Richard A. MacLean, 52, of Haverhill, died September 5, 2016 at New England Medical Center in Boston, following a brief illness.

Born in Derry, son of the late John MacLean and Janice (Comeau) MacLean, he was raised and educated in Haverhill. A skilled carpenter, he was employed by local contractors.

A member of the former Saint Rita's Parish of Haverhill, he was an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed drawing and dancing. He was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Justin MacLean of Dover, NH, his life partner, Tina Pernilla of Haverhill, twin brother,Joseph MacLean of Haverhill, brother, John "Jack" MacLean and sister Tammy Leroy, both of Lee, NH, a grandson Justin, and several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Scott MacLean.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday at 10a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Newton NH.
