Hampstead, NH:  Richard J. "Dick" LaFleche, 68, of Hampstead, NH and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died on March 15, 2020 at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA .

He was born in Haverhill, MA and was the son of the late Edward and Rita (DeRoche) LaFleche.  He attended St. Joseph Grammar School and Haverhill High School, graduating with the Class of 1969, and went on to obtain a degree in Culinary Arts from Essex Agricultural & Technical High School.  Dick first worked as a Chef for the Winchester Country Club and the Ashworth Hotel in Hampton Beach and later for the former Bishop's Restaurant in Lawrence, MA until they closed. He then worked as a Machinist for Raytheon until his retirement.  Following retirement, he worked as a private landscaper .

A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Dick enjoyed both ice fishing and fly fishing.

Dick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Thomas Pappalardo of Methuen, MA; an aunt, Angelina (DeRoche) Sweeney; several cousins and two special friends, Kim and Nancy.
