Hampton – Richard G. "Buzzy" Buswell, 77, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2023 at the Edgewood Center of Portsmouth, NH following a period of failing health.

Born November 7, 1945 in Newburyport, MA, he was the son of the late Glenn and Beatrice (Robinson) Buswell.

Buzzy lived a rich life full of experiences and connections. He served in the US Navy, and later worked for many years at Senter Auto Supply in Plaistow. Before his retirement he worked in sales for PSI. He was a member of the Gideon Lodge Number 84, of Kingston, NH.

Of all of his accomplishments he was most proud of his family and the friends he considered family. He coached Little League when his two kids were young and later never missed a grandchild's sports game with his beautiful wife of 55 years by his side. He was an avid golfer, loved riding his motorcycle and playing softball. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. He was adored by his 3 grandchildren who lovingly called him Grampy Buzzy and his many nieces and nephews.

Buzzy is survived by his wife Ann, his daughter Heather, his son Glenn and wife Amy, as well as his three grandchildren: Beckett, Clash and Mighty. He was preceded in death by his sister Glenda "Sissi" Keefe.
