Renaldo J. Troian, age 99 of Hampstead, Passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.
He was born on March 10, 1914 in Haverhill, MA the son of the late Alfred and Elda (LaPlume) Troian. He was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA and graduated from Haverhill High School.
Renaldo was employed as a local shoe worker in Haverhill and Merrimac, M A.
He loved and enjoyed his family and friends. He enjoyed travelling to both New Hampshire and Maine for vacations and to go fishing. He loved history and collecting antiques, and he was an incredible artist. He enjoyed giving his works of art to his family and friends.
Renaldo and his wife Helen were Hampstead, NH residents for 52 years on Sunset Lake.
He was predeceased by his wife of sixty-three years, Helen (Bychok) Troian. He is survived by his daughter, Carol A. Matterson and husband, Richard of Haverhill, MA. His sons; Lukas A. Troian and wife, Priscilla of Hampstead, NH and Renaldo J. Troian Jr. and his friend, Lisa Comeau of Hampstead, NH. His brother, Alfred Troian and wife, Adrian of Haverhill, MA. Twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive him. He was also predeceased by his sisters; Lorraine Chase, Loretta Channel and Patty Reardon.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A) Plaistow, NH 03865. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home following the visiting hours at 12:15 PM. Burial will follow the services at Holy Angels Cemetery in Plaistow.
