IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymond D.
Brouck
July 9, 1928 – November 16, 2019
Kingston, NH: Raymond Brouck, 91 of Kingston, NH, a former longtime resident of Methuen, MA, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at High Pointe House, Haverhill, MA
Born in Lawrence, MA, on July 9, 1928, he was the son of the late Desire' and Ernestine (Hecarte) Brouck, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1946. He spent most of his life living in Methuen with his wife of sixty-six years, Rita (Gingrass) Brouck, who predeceased him by five years. They were happily married and together they went out swing dancing and playing cards with their great friends Claire, Ronny, Hank, Dolly, Marci, and Emile. Together the couple also enjoyed cross country skiing and bicycle riding together. Almost every weekend you would find them at one of their children's homes enjoying the grandchildren. After his wife's passing, Raymond moved to Kingston to live with his son. There he enjoyed the sunsets, fishing, boating and sitting outside with the neighbors and his family. Raymond was called "Pepere" by many and loved telling stories and jokes to all.
Raymond worked for Sylvania GTE in Salem, Mass. for forty-four years and commuted with his brothers Henry and Ralph and father-in-law Fred. Throughout his years he made quite a few inventions of his own such as possibly the first car bicycle rack. More recently he built birdhouses with the help of his designer Howard. Many friends and family have acquired them over the years and they will hold great memories of the man that Raymond was.
Family was very important to Raymond and he enjoyed having family members by his side. Right to the end of his illness, he wanted to spend his last days with his loved ones at his son's house on Kingston Lake.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Linda M. Nagri and her husband Richard of Manchester, NH, sons, Alfred R. Brouck and his wife Margaret of St. Petersburg, FL, William Brouck and his girlfriend Karen Quinno of Kingston, NH, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ralph and Henry and sisters, Adele and V.
Relatives and friends are invited to Raymond's Funeral Service on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen, MA.
