Obituary

Haverhill: Randall L. "Randy" Keller, 72, a resident of Haverhill since 1982, died February 6, 2019, at High Pointe Hospice House, following a long illness and with his loving family by his side.

Born, raised and educated in Medford, son of the late Lewis C. and Romayne (Cunningham) Keller, he graduated from Medford High School in 1964 and entered the U.S. Marine Corps. Serving in Vietnam as an Infantry Radioman, he earned The Presidential Unit Citation, The Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnamese Service Medal and The Vietnamese Campaign Medal. After concluding his tour he returned to Camp Lejeune as an Infantry Instructor and was Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant in 1968.

Following his discharge, he attended Boston State College, graduating in 1975. In 1982, Mr. Keller began his career with the U.S. Postal Service working first as a letter carrier in Reading. He was later elected to be President of N.A.L.C. Branch 25, and was also elected as a National Trustee for the N.A.L.C. for twenty years.

A member of the National Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans, and also the Marine Corps Alpha 1-4 and Echo 2-7 Vietnam Reunion Group, he enjoyed trips to Rye Beach, NH, and vacations at St. Augustine Beach, Florida.  He was an avid golfer and a loyal fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer L. and Scott Bradish of Bradford, and Joy A. Keller of Haverhill, a son and daughter-in-law, Grant C. and April Keller of Haverhill, his fiancé, Mary E. Tinglov of St. Paul, MN, two brothers Douglas Keller of Hadley, and Scott Keller of Methuen, two sisters,  Laraine Cowan of Tewksbury, and Kristine Jannini of Barnstead, NH, three grandchildren, Riley Bradish, Ashley Bradish and Audrey Keller, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Keller in 1996.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. David Fischer, MD and Kaitlen Reyes, RN of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston for the special care and comfort extended to Mr. Keller during his long illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Keller's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday February 10, 2019 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral will begin on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home with a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St., Bradford. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Veterans Lot of Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Randall's name be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
