Kingston, NH: Polly Ann Dole, 69, a resident of Kingston for the past fifteen years, died peacefully, on March 1, 2022 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.
Raised and educated in South Groveland, MA, Polly Ann was a member of the Pentucket Regional High School Class of 1970. She later received her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Whittier Region Vocational and Technical School.
She was employed as an LPN for all of her working career, first at the former Hale Hospital in Haverhill and later by other local healthcare facilities. At the time of her retirement in 2017, she had been employed for fifteen years at RiverWoods of Exeter Retirement Community, a job that she thoroughly enjoyed.
A former resident of Sandown and Newton, NH, Polly Ann also worker as a real estate agent at Century 21. She also owned and operated a local consignment shop known as Polly Coat Junction and was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Kingston.
Polly Ann was a "mud race" driver in her younger years and also enjoyed cooking, swimming, refinishing furniture and entertaining her dog. An avid reader, she also loved taking cruises with her husband as well as the 7500 mile road trip across the United States that they accomplished last year.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of fifteen years, Robert Esty, a brother Barry Dole of Umitilla, FL, two sisters, Patti Lapierre of Cayce, SC, and Penelope Hemeon and her husband Robert of Bridgeport, WV, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Bobby Dole, formerly of Merrimac, MA.
A Celebration of Polly Ann's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donation be made to the NHSPCA, 104 Portsmouth Avenue, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH.
