Haverhill, MA: Peter M. Leate, 59, of Haverhill died on February 6, 2015 at Lawrence General Hospital.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, son of the late Rita (Leate) Torrico, he attended Haverhill Trade School.

Mr. Leate was employed as a bench worker for local factories and manufacturers. He enjoyed cooking and barbequing. He also loved animals and was devoted to his pet cats, Trouble and Pokey.

He was predeceased by his lifelong friend, Lynn Genna. He is survived by his aunt, Helen Bailey and her husband Howard of Bradford, five cousins, Patricia Connors and her longtime companion Jack Hittman of West Springfield, George Leate and his wife Kathleen of Kingston, NH, Debbie Forte and her husband Dan of Haverhill, Howard Bailey of Kingston, NH, and Joseph Bailey and his wife Carla of Kingston, NH.

Best friends, Larry Fisher, Gary Crowley, Charles Hill, and Keith Jordan all of Haverhill, MA.
