Hampstead, NH: Peter R. Chiachio, Jr, 83, a resident of Hampstead since 1973, died December 2, 2025, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, after being stricken at home. Born, raised and educated in Weymouth, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Peter and Julia Chiachio and graduated from Weymouth High School with the Class of 1960. Peter worked for many years as a tailor, and owned and operated C & C Tailors, in Malden, MA

A resident of Fremont NH for several years before settling in Hampstead fifty-one years ago, he was a member of the Fremont Fire Department and Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead.  Peter enjoyed playing cards, taking part in 45's tournaments, and excursions to the mountains and lakes of New England and trying his luck at the casinos. He most enjoyed the times that he spent with his large extended family of children and grandchildren.

Peter was predeceased in 2025 by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Juanitalee (DelGenio) Chiachio and his grand-daughter Lucciana, and by his son, John R. Chiachio in 2010. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Peter R. Chiachio, III, of Hooksett, Richard G. Chiachio and his wife Melanie of Hampstead, and George Chiachio and his wife Sthefany of Hampstead, a sister, Roberta Benedict of Cape Cod, grandchildren, Nicole, Peter IV, Jacquelyn, Nicholas, Richard Jr., Anthony, Dylan, Jonathan, Lyndsey and Brandy, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brothers Richard and Daniel Chiachio.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at Saint Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead. Springtime burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
