East Hampstead, NH: Peter J. Bisognano, 73, died peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Quincy, son of the late John and Domenica (Raffa) Bisognano, he attended local schools and graduated from Quincy Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 1970. He then served in the U.S. Naval Air Reserves. Peter went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University and later, his MBA from Suffolk University. Peter enjoyed a long career with New England Telephone, and its successor companies Nynex, Bell Atlantic and Verizon and was the Director of East Coast Operations at the time of his retirement.

Peter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed spending time with his family including his wife's large extended family. He was a former resident of Atkinson for sixteen years and later moved to Hilton Head Island with his wife to enjoy the local climate and play golf. He always looked forward to returning to New Hampshire in the summer to spend time with his family. An accomplished accordion player Peter could easily be coaxed into entertaining family and friends with music, charm and touch of wit.

Peter will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty-seven years, Sheryl (Kinney) Bisognano, his son and daughter-in-law, John P. and Heather Bisognano of Milton, MA, a daughter Caitlin Mason of Randolph, MA, grandchildren, Jack and Annabel Bisognano, and his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Gerry Cronin of Braintree, MA, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and his beloved dachshunds.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. A time of remembrance will be held at 4:30. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to Brigham and Women's, 75 Francis Street, Boston, MA or an animal rescue of the donor's choice.
