Pauline Rita Ricard, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Coleman House in Northborough, MA. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Ricard with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

Pauline was a life-long resident of Haverhill, born on October 16, 1926. She was the daughter of the late George and Virginia (Legault) Raymond.

Pauline attended the Crowell School and graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1944.

After an early career as a bookkeeper, Pauline was a cafeteria worker at Crowell School and Haverhill High School. She was forever known as the "lunch lady".

Pauline was best known for her home-made fudge and her love of crafting, which she enjoyed doing with her grandchildren and for the St. John the Baptist Church fair. She was an avid quilter making many beautiful quilts for friends and family.

Pauline is survived by her children Chief Bruce E. Ricard, ret. and his wife Dr. Michele of Berlin, MA, Joy I. Wender of Baker, FL., and Paula M. Giardinella and her husband Thomas of Townsend, MA, her 7 grandchildren John, Hope, Dr. Seychelle, Christine, Dr. Paul, Amy and Adam and her 3 great grandchildren Samantha, Skylar and Rowan, her sister Irene Hamel of Bradenton, FL. and her sister-in-law Mary Raymond of Haverhill.

Family and Friends are invited to Calling Hours to be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10am – 12am at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:15 pm with interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery Haverhill to follow.
