Danville, NH: Pauline L. (Herron) Duke, 64, a resident of Danville for the past six years, died Friday, April 26, 2019 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Born in Manchester, Connecticut, daughter of Frances (Agard) Herron and the late Herbert Herron, she moved as a child to Andover, MA, where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Andover High School with the Class of 1973 and later received her Associates Degree in Secretarial Studies from the former Andover School of Business.
Mrs. Duke was employed by several local insurance companies and most recently as a claims adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and AIG.
A thirty year resident of Sandown, before moving to Danville in 2013, Mrs. Duke was a member of the Carriage Town Bible Church of Kingston. She was devoted to her husband and children and grandchildren and also enjoyed rug hooking and braiding rugs.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-three years, George W. Duke, two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly L. and Matthew McCardell, of Nashua, and Penny E. and Everett Russell, IV of Methuen, MA, her mother Frances Herron of Andover, four sisters, Linda Hugo of Andover, MA, Sally Gagne of Randolph, ME, Beth Nault of Methuen and Megan Herron of Andover, a brother Andy Belanger of Hartford, CT, four grandchildren, Ace McCardell, Piper McCardell, Lydia Russell and Everett Russell, V, her step-mother Barbara Herron of Salem, NH, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pauline's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow, NH.
