Exeter, NH: Pauline L (Collette) Crawford, 71, a former longtime resident of Newton and Kingston, NH, died August 13, 2017 at Exeter Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Claudio and Lorraine (Adrien) Collette, she attended schools in Lynn and graduated from the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University. She was employed for many years at Beverly Hospital and Lawrence General Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
An active member of the Kingston Congregational Church and the church choir, Mrs. Crawford was a well- known wedding and church soloist in her younger years.
In addition to her interest in music, Mrs. Crawford enjoyed knitting and crocheting caps for newborn infants at the hospital where she worked and lap throws for the elderly.
The wife of the late David A. Crawford, who died in 2007, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a son, Jason D. Crawford of Newton, three daughters, Patricia Romei and her husband Joseph of Enfield, CT., Leandra LeClerc and her husband Christopher of Peabody, MA and Rebecca Brabant of Conway, a brother and sister-in-law, C. David and Ann Collette of Gilford, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Robert Gates of Rochester, NH and Marie and Philip Pierce of York, Maine, also twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private family burial service will take place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
