IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul A.
Warchut
June 29, 1948 – February 22, 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family of Paul Anthony Warchut announces his passing on February 22, 2025 after recent ill health.
Paul was a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, having attended local schools, graduating from Timberlane Regional High School with individual awards for character, reliability, responsibility, and achievement.
Paul's family was very important to him, and he cherished the holidays and events that brought his relatives together. He hunted and fished with his father, Walt, and enjoyed snowmobiling on NH trails. He played pool with his father and next-door neighbor, Don Wills each week, then he played at the Salem NH Senior Center and at The Villages, FL. His mother, Jeannette, was a positive influence in his life, and she was very supportive.
Paul was very proud of his country and served in the US Air Force, including Vietnam. He trained at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, where he learned to be an aircraft mechanic. Besides being very adept at all things mechanical, Paul was an avid car guy, not just working on, and rebuilding cars, but attending car shows from Skip's Hamburgers in Merrimac, MA to the monthly cruise-ins at The Villages, FL, where he spent winter months, getting away from the cold and snow of NH. He took many pictures of cars and enjoyed the Sundays at New England Dragway in Epping, NH. Paul was a tinkerer and was interested in many things that he could take apart and put back together. His string art collection was impressive.
Paul was a conscientious worker at Western Electric/Lucent, where he spent many years after his Service to his country.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Walter and Jeannette (Gebow) Warchut and will be missed by his siblings, Janet Tashjian in Methuen, MA, Jane and her husband Stu Klotzle living in The Villages, FL, and brother William (Bill) Warchut living in western MA. He also leaves nephews, nieces and cousins in MA, NH, FL and CA.
A private burial service, including USAF military honors, will be conducted for his family by the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
