Paul B. Rousseau, 85, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, MA died on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lynda (Connell) Rousseau with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

He was born in Haverhill, MA on January 29, 1940 and was the son of the late Normand and Cecile (Sicard) Rousseau. Paul was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1957. After high school he enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Paul was employed as a fire fighter his entire career. He retired from the Haverhill Fire Department in 1991. He was a skilled carpenter and had a passion for woodworking. When the grandchildren came along, Paul built furniture for them to enjoy. The products of his craftsmanship are now family treasures. He enjoyed summers with his family and his dog Fletcher at the lake in Maine.  Paul volunteered his time with Habitat for Humanity for several years and served as a member of the board at the Haverhill Fire Department credit union. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his children Mark Rousseau and his wife Heather of Haverhill, MA, Jeffrey Rousseau and his wife Christina of Atkinson, NH, and Brian Rousseau and his wife Cherie of Haverhill, MA, his grandchildren Ethan Rousseau, Joshua Rousseau, Georgia Rousseau, Lukas Rousseau, Adam Rousseau, Jeremy Rousseau, Lydia Rousseau, and Ainsley Rousseau, and his brother Robert Rousseau and his wife Agnes of Amesbury, MA. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 4pm – 7pm at the Berube-Comeau Funeral Home 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10am at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue Haverhill, MA. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Haverhill, MA.
