Paul G. Perry Sr., age 86, of Hampstead, NH passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Prenaveau) Perry with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

He was born in Summerside, PEI, Canada on July 10, 1937 and was the son of the late Henry and Mary (DesRoche) Perry.

Paul was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1956. Paul, aka Gilman was a devoted family man to his wife and 5 children, never missing a sports event, school function or any other activity the family was involved in. He also enjoyed spending many hours in the barn at Perry's Sunny Hill Farm taking care of his horses and traveling up and down the East Coast and the Maritime Provinces with Big Hugh and his other Harness Racehorses. Grampa loved his grandkids and went to as many games to watch them as possible.

Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his children Paul Perry Jr., and his wife Ann of Derry, NH, Shawn Perry and his wife Nan of Fremont, NH, Daniel Perry and his wife Sharon of Hampstead, NH, Susan Kolias and her husband David of Ossipee, NH, and Melissa Shinault of Derry, NH, his fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was sadly predeceased by his son-in-law Kevin Shinault Sr., his granddaughter Jamie Perry and his great-grandson Joshua Perry.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9am – 11am at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH. His funeral mass will follow at 12pm at St. Anne Parish 26 Emerson Avenue Hamstead, NH. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anne Ecumenical Food Pantry at 26 Emerson Ave, P.O. Box 339 Hampstead, NH 03841.
