Danville------ Paul Roger Parenteau 74, longtime resident of Danville, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Holy Family Hospital Methuen with his loving family by his side.

Born Christmas day 1947, he was the greatest gift to Roger and Irene (Burke) Parenteau. Raised and educated in Baldwin, New York he graduated from Baldwin High School. He enlisted and served our country, in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. He furthered his education at Merrimack College. He was also an active member of Saint Anne's Parish, Hampstead.

Paul enjoyed deep sea fishing trips and working in his yard. He was proud of his beautiful property. An avid Bruins fan, he held season tickets for a while and relished the days spent rink side with his son, Jon. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends. Throughout the years he developed a passion for rescuing dogs with his family.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ellen (Joncas) Parenteau; their son, Jon Paul Parenteau both of Danville; sister, Rosemary Lemay and her husband, Donald of East Hampstead, nephews, Evan Lemay of Oregon and Derek Lemay and his fiancé, Emily of Dover; grand-niece, Savannah Lemay of Oregon and man's best friend, Mya. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Parenteau and his rescue dogs, Angie and Frodo.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
