Obituary


Paul R. Millett, 54, of Plaistow, died May 19, 2012 at Lawrence General Hospital.Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, son of John F. Millett and the late Elaine (Dodier) Millett, he was raised in the Bradford section and attended Sacred Hearts Grammar School. A member of the Whittier Vocational and Technical High School Class of 1976, Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1976 until 1985 and later as a Specialist 4 from 1991 until 1998.



Working for many years as a plumber's assistant, he was employed by local contractors including Bailey and Sons and Richard Early and Sons.



A former member of Sacred Hearts Parish, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in Vermont and he was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.



He is survived by his wife Deborah (Torrey) Millett, a son, U.S. Army Sgt. Timothy D. Torrey of Plaistow, four daughters, Debbie A. Millett, of Haverhill, Cherie E. Millett, Gabriel P. Millett and Paula J. Millett, all of Plaistow, his father John F. Millett of Sandown, four sisters, Linda Millett and Joanne Millett, of Sandown, Donna Shackley of Danville, and Sally Wilkins of Plaistow, six grandchildren, Mikayla, Zoee, Nicolas, Ariana, Colby and Tatiana and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.



Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held on Friday at 12:15 pm in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill.
