Paul E. Archambault, Sr., 81, of Haverhill, passed away on July 5, 2012 at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, following a period of declining health.



He was born on August 3, 1930 in Haverhill, the son of Leo W. and Cora (Frenier) Archambault.He was raised and educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1949.Paul had worked for over twenty years for Demers Plate Glass Co. as a glazer and installer.He was a member of the LocalGlazer's Union.



He enjoyed spending time with and taking care of others.He cared for both of his parents until they passed away.Paul loved puzzles, going to bingo and playing cards with his friends at Merrivista in Haverhill.



He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Archambault, Jr. of Haverhill, David and Marilou Archambault of Salem, NH, Robert and Doreen Archambault of Atkinson, NH, and James and Donna Archambault of NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Herb Morgan of Groveland; three sisters, Doris Herrick of Williamsburg, VA, Rita Shea of Canton and Leona Varrichione of Milford; one brother, Henry Archambault of New Orleans, LA; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Donald Archambault, Leo Archambault, Ernest Archambault and Lucien Archambault.



Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 9:15 to 11:15 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill.Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
