Plaistow, NH: Patrick D. Foynes, 45, a lifelong resident of Plaistow, died Saturday January 14, 2023, in Plaistow.
Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, son of Charlene (Siek) Foynes and the late Donald C. Foynes, he attended the Pollard School in Plaistow, and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School. He later attended Norther Essex Community College.
Patrick first worked as a landscaper and operated Pat's Landscaping for several years and later was employed as an oil delivery driver by Victory Oil Co. He was presently employed by Haffner's Oil Company as a delivery man and driver. He truly understood the concept of customer satisfaction and had a wonderful relationship and connection with the many customers that he served in the Southern New Hampshire and Merrimack Valley areas.
Growing up in Plaistow, Patrick was a member of the former Holy Angels Parish. An avid outdoors man, he enjoyed fishing, fly fishing, hiking, gardening, and spending time at his cabin in Parsonsville, Maine. He also was a talented leather crafter of fine items and was devoted to his canine friends, Lancet and Sadie. As a young man, Patrick enjoyed long distance bicycling with his late father and continued that passion into his adult life.
Patrick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Charlene (Siek) Foynes of Plaistow, his brother Mark C. Foynes, of Plaistow, a niece Cadence "Cadie" Foynes, a nephew Eric Foynes, his uncle Chris Siek of Haverhill, his longtime loving companion, Sheree L. Gorton of Plaistow, and several cousins, as well as a multitude of friends that he has had since grade school and were there to support him at the time of his father's death, and the many co-workers that became friends over the years through his work at Liberty Oil and Haffner's Oil Co.
