Obituary

Patrick B. Bixby, 41, of Plaistow, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Laconia, NH, he was the son of Janine (Donovan) Bixby and the late Charles Bixby, and he attended Plymouth Regional High School.

Always a hard worker, Patrick was skilled as a plumber. He was a loyal friend and a true patriot to those who knew and loved him.  Patrick was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plaistow for many years.  He was baptized there and had a church family who loved and cared for him generously.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to church mission projects and to the community.  Patrick loved new adventures, whether it be a spontaneous road trip with his family, scuba diving the depths of the ocean or an intense Bruin's game.

Patrick will be sadly missed and always remembered in the hearts of many family and friends, especially his devoted wife of 18 years Melanie (Mailhot) Bixby and his "baby girl", Riley Bixby. Loved as a son and brother, the Mailhot Family, Walter and Lynda, David and Beth, Jeannie, Jesse and six nieces and nephews, will always hold Patrick near to their hearts.  Patrick leaves behind six brothers, Ryan Mcintire, Joshua Bixby, Jeremy Bixby, Matthew Bixby, Tyler Bixby, and Charles Bixby, as well as his best friends Christopher Gowen and Joseph Jacheo and many nieces and nephews. Additionally, Patrick was predeceased by his great grandfather, Leo Fortier, and his uncle Brian Ayers. Along with his father Chuck, these three men had lasting influences on Patrick's life.

A memorial service for Patrick will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dr. David Reardon at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215 in memory of Patrick Bixby.
