Kingston, NH; Patricia J. "Pat" Ruhmann, 82, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Exeter Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Chadwick) Brett.  She was raised and educated in Methuen and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in English, where she developed her passion for teaching. Pat went on to become an educator for Tenney High School in Methuen for many years. She later became a nursing coordinator, until her retirement.

Pat was happiest spending time with her family, whether it was going to the movies with her grandchildren, facetime her great-grandson Henry, playing a competitive game of whist at the picnic table or dancing on the camp deck.  She also adored her dog, Shamrock, who was the best $100 she ever spent.  Those that knew her will always remember her kindness, her sense of humor, and her easy laugh.

Pat will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Brett Ruhmann of Kingston, NH,  Nancy Soucy and her husband, Jay of Bath, NH and Susan Page and her husband, David of Madison, ME; six grandchildren, Kendra Ruhmann, Brett Ruhmann Jr., Brittney Roccapriore and her husband, Greg Roccapriore, Conor Soucy and his fiancé, Kennedy Muise, Quinn Soucy and Tyrese Stennett; and one great-grandchild, Henry Roccapriore; daughter-in-law, Denise Ruhmann of Haverhill, MA and sister-in-law, Kathy Brett of Needham, MA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Raymond Ruhmann, her son, Jeffrey Ruhmann and her brother, James Brett.

Family was most important to Pat, and she cherished the memories she made with her children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pat's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 1:30pm in the funeral home.
