Plaistow, NH:  Patricia E. (Ireland) Parker, 68, of Plaistow and a former longtime resident of Kingston, NH, died on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at her daughter's home.

Born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Frances Louise (Roy) Ireland, she was raised and educated in Dracut, MA, graduating from Dracut High School, Class of 1967.  After high school, she worked at the Yum-Yum Shop and as a Seamstress designing and making wedding gowns and later owned and operated a stained-glass business.   Mrs. Parker attended the State of NH Police Academy and worked as a Dispatcher for the Plaistow Police Department and as a part-time Police Officer for the Town of Kingston, and was a Foster Mother for the State of NH.  In her later years, she worked at Luxury Linens and Perfect Parties.

She was an avid seamstress who enjoyed sewing and knitting and trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

The wife of the late Kingston Police Chief, Neil Parker, she is survived by a son, Jay Hubbard of Newton, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Matthew Morris of Haverhill, MA; two grandchildren, Shea Morris and Aiden Morris; a brother, David Ireland of Tennessee; two sisters, Gail Gillis of Dracut, MA and Maureen Lerner of Hollis, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was pre-deceased by brothers, Roy Ireland and Brian Ireland and a sister, Linda Rummel.
